Bizarre magic becomes far more effective and believable when you engage as many of the spectator's senses as you can. The sense of smell produces more stimuli to the human brain than any other. Just think of the power you can have over your spectators if you can subtly trick and convince their brains into accepting that, for example, an old scroll really IS authentic. That result is the very least you can expect when using Essence Of Antiquity or the info contained in the book.

DO NOT confuse this with any other product on the market, Essence of Antiquity is the original product and concept of Karl Bartoni. First made available through the Thaumysta Magic Co. in 1995, then released generally along with a hefty manual in 1997.  It has had tremendous acclaim from those using it. Many have tried to copy this product, including one well known U.K. bizarre magic dealer in 2007 (who also copied sections from the manual) BUT ALL HAVE FAILED, BOTH IN THE QUALITY OR THE AROMA.

Postage and customs to overseas is now a major problem. Because the oil contains some organic ingredients this raises alarms at customs X-ray stations (outgoing as well as incoming). Proof of contents and safe to transport (by all methods) has to be provided by including the full ' Safety Data Sheets' which Karl is not prepared to do as these have to include a list of all the specialised ingredients which make up the oil.

If a suitable way for getting the Essence oil to all customers is found then all interested parties will be notified.

[In 2011, a variation of E of A called KARNAK was produced by me in quantity for a special project being done by George Robinson (of Collectors Workshop/Viking Magic). The only way it could be sent to the States was by courier. Several copies of the 'Safety Data Sheets' had to be provided for both British and American customs and the cost of transportation came to over seventy British pounds, paid for by G. Robinson. Previously to all this, even small samples of E of A sent to individuals did not arrive and it must be presumed that these were impounded by customs.]
